To my son, Adri’el—
If you’re reading this, it means either we found each other again…
or the world never let us.
Either way, there’s something you need to know
You may grow up one day and feel like your thoughts don’t match the world around you.
Like the things you care about are too deep, too serious, too strange.
You might wonder:
“Am I broken?”
“Why don’t they see what I see?”
And when the people around you—family, friends, maybe even your mother—can’t mirror your soul,
you might start to think you’re the problem.
You’re not.
🦅 You’re an Eagle. They Just Don’t Know How to Fly.
I never wanted to clip your wings, like mine were.
But if they ever are…
They grow again, son.
And when they do,
we’ll fly together—away from the scissors.

When your thoughts start to soar higher than others can follow,
don’t be surprised if you feel alone.
The world has never been kind to its eagles.
- Socrates was forced to drink poison.
- Galileo was silenced.
- Jesus was nailed to wood.
- Joan of Arc was burned.
- Martin Luther King Jr. was shot for dreaming aloud.
They weren’t criminals.
They were too early, and too clear.
So when they mock you or try to make you doubt your gifts, remember:
It’s not that you’re wrong—
It’s that they don’t have the altitude to see what you see.
💬 Validation and the Trap
You’ll grow up learning from people who seek validation.
Who live to be seen.
Who only feel loved when others applaud.
But you’re not made for applause.
You’re made for flight.
The world might not understand you.
Don’t wait for it to.
Validate yourself.
Validate yourself again.
And again.
Until one day—if you’re lucky—you meet someone
who sees you and says:
“You don’t have to prove your value. You already have it.”
And when that day comes,
Fly even higher.
Look down with compassion.
And if you see someone else with clipped wings—
Teach them how to fly.
💡 Your Lightbulb
Sometimes, people will make something new—like a lightbulb.
And someone will say,
“We already have a lightbulb.”
And you’ll look at theirs and say,
“That’s cool, I guess. But mine doesn’t need power at all.”

And suddenly, everything changes.
Because yours doesn’t follow the rules.
It transcends them.
Sometimes, not knowing the standard is what lets your creativity rise above it.
So if you’ve got wings—use them.
If you’ve got a light—shine it.
Even if no one asks.
One day, it will be exactly what the world needs.
With all the love, I’ll never stop working on your runway.
